539,789. Composite boards for doors. HITCHINS, W. G. Feb. 21, 1940, No. 3287. Drawings to Specification. [Class 145 (ii)] A composite board constituting a flush type door consists of a wood frame which is glued and placed over one of the facing boards, spacing pieces consisting of cylindrical or other shaped elements made by bending round a piece of veneer or three-ply with its grain at rightangles to the facing board and securing the ends together (so that spacing pieces are on edge) and superimposing the other facing board.
