Abstract

538,821. Typewriters. LAMSON, PARAGON SUPPLY CO., Ltd., and GARWOOD, V. W. Feb. 12, 1940, No. 3371/41. Divided out of 538,797. [Class 100 (iv)]. Carbon-sheet arrangements. In manifolding arrangements wherein webs are interleaved with carbon sheets mounted on a retractable holder or trolley, interleaving is facilitated by securing the free ends of the webs in a clip or the like mounted on a member which is movable into a position above the typewriter. In the arrangement shown in the Figure, movable member 17 provided with a clip 20 is slidably mounted in guides 18 on a support 5 for a carbon-sheet trolley 6. The slide 17 may be replaced by an arm which. is pivoted on the support 5 and normally rests in a seat thereon. Specifications 468,537, 538,796 and 538,797 are referred to.
