[Class 1 (iii)] [Also in Group I] A fertilizer composition containing magnesia, calcium carbonate and magnesium and calcium sulphates is produced by mixing dolomite with about half the equivalent quantity of sulphuric acid and heating the mixture to 600‹ C. in an atmosphere of steam.
