Abstract

537,153. Building slabs. STORY, A. G. March 21, 1940, Nos. 5329 and 9149. [Class 87 (i)] A cavity building slab has one of its faces arched transversely of its length the other face being correspondingly recessed and the arches and recesses terminating in flats. Fig. 4 shows a form in which the slab is provided with a central partition 11 having an arched part 14 similar to the arched parts on the end webs, the arches, and the corresponding recesses 15 in the lower face ending in flats 12. In Fig. 1 the faces are provided with longitudinally disposed arches 8 and recesses 8a. Fig 6 shows a corner block having a transverse arch 19 and longitudinal arches 23.
