[Class 29] Absorption systems.-In an evaporator of a continuous-cycle system in which the liquid refrigerant is propelled by the blowing or dragging action of the inert gas stream, as set forth in Specification 504,374, the riser conduit between successive horizontally disposed coils is arranged to raise the liquid in two or more stages, and preferably comprises two rising portions with a horizontal rest portion between them. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91, comprises also the subject-matter of Specification 537,258. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
