Abstract
535,470. Superphosphate. SILESIA, VEREIN CHEMISOHER FABRIKEN. July 26, 1939. No. 21759. Convention date, Aug. 15, 1938. [Class 1 (iii)] Superphosphate is granulated by converting it into a plastic mass by mechanical treatment involving pressure and movement, and then treating the plastified mass by simultaneous movement and heating. The first stage may be effected by means of edge mills, extrusion presses or pressing worms. and the second stage may be effected in rotary tubes or mixing drums which may be internally or externally heated. An example is given, in which the second stage is effected at 120‹C. Specification 491,841 is referred to.
