Abstract
534,572. Camouflaging material. EDWARDES, W. F. W., and HARVEY. E. W. M. Aug. 9, 1939, No. 23042. [Class 20 (i)] A camouflage material comprises a mesh backing to which flocculent material, such as feathers, scrap paper, leaves, grass, and the like is caused to adhere; the mesh backing may be of metal or fabric. The backing may be sprayed with adhesive and the flocculent material blown on, or alternatively the flocculent material may be caused to adhere to the backing over which it is placed by applying a coat of paint, varnish, bitumen, &c., according to the colouring required. The material may be supported on uprights, and in places, part of the material may - be displaced from the general plane of the remainder.
