534,410. Hot-water boilers. STOTT & CO. (ENGINEERS) Ltd., J., STOTT, R. E., SCHOFIELD, L., and STOTT, J. A. Jan. 12, 1940, No. 699. [Class 64 (i)] A boiler comprises a large interior hot water tank c with a draw-off tap, boiling chambers b detachably connected to the bottom of the tank, and a surrounding water jacket a. Boiling water rises through a pipe b<3> in the tank, and is deflected downwards by a cap b<4>. Excess boiling water flows through a connection c<2> into the jacket, and is returned to the boiling chambers through a pipe a<3>. Fresh water is supplied to the bottom of the jacket from a cistern having a float-controlled inlet valve.
