534,100. Aviation suits. ROBINSON & CLEAVER, Ltd., AERONAUTICAL RESEARCH & SALES CORPORATION, Ltd., and COTTON, F. S. Dec. 9, 1939, No. 31889. [Class 141] A one-piece aviation suit comprises an outer layer f, Fig. 4, of textile material, preferably weather-proofed and flame-proofed linen, an inner layer or lining e of silk or silk - like material, and an intermediate layer g of kapok, fleece wool &c. quilted to the layer f or to both layers f, e. At the wrists and ankles, the suit is provided with one or more lining bands a<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 2, of fur. Bands or layers of fur, fleece wool &c. may be inserted in the seat and across the small of the back. The front of the suit is formed with an inner flap k closable by a sliding-clasp fastening l, and an outer covering flap i closable by a sliding-clasp fastening j. This outer flap may carry a pocket. and other pouches or pockets o may be provided on the outside of the legs. A fly front r secured by a button r<SP>1</SP> is also provided.
