Abstract
529,497. Separating granular materials. WESTFALIA DINNENDAHL GROPPEL AKT.-GES. June 2, 1939, No. 16241. Convention date, June 24, 1938. [Class 82 (ii)] Dross from flotation plants is conveyed to a classifying device, such as a sorting cone 2, a screen or the like, from which the coarser dross is taken to a filtering device, such as an internal filter 5, and thence removed as by a conveyer worm 6 for use as builder's sand or in roadmaking etc.; overflow from the filter passes by sump 8 to the classifier 2, while the overflow from the classifier passes with the fine dross to a sump 9 from which a pump 10 removes it to the settling tanks.
