Abstract
528,356. Railway vehicles. BUGATTI, J. May 4, 1939, No. 13403. Convention date, May 9, 1938. [Class 103 (vi] The body is suspended on longitudinally arranged elastic bearings on the chassis, damping arrangements being provided to limit the swinging movement. The body may be mounted on trunnions 3 carried by uprights 2 on the chassis 1, or as shown, may be freely mounted at 21 on links 20 carried by the trunnions. The transverse movements are controlled by a member 11 connected to hydraulic or pneumatic pistons 13, further damping being effected by spring members 16 and by stops 19. The swinging movement of the links 20 is limited by fixed abutments 23.
