Abstract

528,142. Furniture screens. HOSKINS & SEWELL, Ltd., and HOSKINS, H. R. April 28, 1939, No. 12733. [Class 52 (iv)] A hinge connection between adjacent sides of tubular frames a of a folding hospital &c. screen comprises rods c extending over the greater part of the length of the sides and fitting into the ends of the frame tubes, and wide hinge tubes b enclosing both rods and closing the gap between the panels. The rods are inserted in the hinge tubes and then in the frame tubes, to which they may be welded. The sides of the hinge tubes are then indented at the ends to prevent rattling. Specification 492,027 is referred to.
