[Class 59] A resilient scraper for removing ground material from the periphery of the delivery roller of paint &c. roller mills is made from metal strip or narrow metal sheet, with transverse slits extending from its longitudinal scraping edge. As shown, a sheet-metal scraper a, mounted in a holder e so as to engage the periphery of the delivery roller d, is formed with a number of transverse slits b extending from the scraping edge c. In a modification, the scraper consists of two or more lengths of metal strip arranged end to end in a holder, each length being formed with one or or more transverse slits extending from its outer edge. In another modification, the scraper consists of a number of short separate strips arranged end to end in a holder, the contiguous edges forming the slits.
