526,032. Television ; valve generating circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. March 3, 1939, No. 7004. Convention date, March 3, 1938. Addition to 483,999. [Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v)] The parent Specification relates to a saw-tooth line-frequency current generator comprising an inductance 11 associated with a capacity, preferably its distributed capacity, to which is applied a saw-tooth voltage at frame frequency so as to produce the required lengthening or shortening of the lines for a trapezoidal scanned area. The saw-tooth voltage of frame frequency may be generated across a condenser 15 associated with a rectifier 12 across the inductance 11. According to the present invention, the inductance 11 is coupled by a transformer 14 to the output circuit of valve 10, to the inner grid of which are applied line frequency impulses and to the screen grid of which is applied the saw-tooth voltage of frame frequency. This voltage may be derived from a resistance 17 in series with condenser 15, so that it is dependent upon the condenser current. Specification 525,680 also is referred to.
