Abstract
525,370. Sliding contact members. JUNKERS FLUGZEUG - UND - MOTOBEN - WERKE AKT.-GES. Feb. 20, 1939, No. 5579. Convention date, March 16, 1938. [Classes 122 (i) and 122 (ii)] One of a pair of sliding contact members, for machine parts or the like, consists of a cast iron alloy whilst the other member, or that part thereof in sliding contact with the first member, consists of an aluminium alloy containing one or more added elements which form a solid solution with the aluminium, the addition being such that the eutectic composition is not exceeded. Examples of suitable percentages of suitable elements are given in the Specification.
