Abstract
524,794. Elastic fluid turbines. AKT.-GES. BROWN, BOVERI, & CIE. Feb. 8, 1939, No. 4133. Convention date, Feb. 8, 1938. [Class 110 (iii)] Blades having internal channels for cooling fluids allow the escape of the fluid in a way to secure that it flows over the working surface as a protective covering. Orifices b connect the channels a with open-sided channels c. The blades may be formed of sheet material. Stamped foot-flanges r are welded to the blades and are afterwards welded to the rotor. Specification 435,906 is referred to.
