Abstract

523,740. Lamp-holders two-part couplings. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and ALLEN, F. G. Jan. 13, 1939, No. 1209. [Class 38 (i)] A lamp-holder having an integral flange 12 between a shade ring 13 and a cap 9 or a ring that secures the cap, has a finger grip provided on the flange consisting of one or more projections 15 or an annular rim extending towards the cap and passing over its edge. The projections 15 may be flush with or stand out radially beyond the periphery of the flange. A similar construction may be applied to an adapter plug having a cap enclosing its terminals.
