Abstract

520,398. Amusement apparatus. EYERLY, L. U. Oct. 20, 1938, No. 30398. [Class 132 (i)] In an amusement device having a spindle 13 tiltably mounted on a standard 10 and carrying rotatably an arm 19 at the ends of which are passenger carrying cars 24, means are provided for causing the cars to assume upright positions in two opposite positions of travel and inclined positions at intermediate points, the arm being revolved on the spindle by motor 38 and the spindle being rocked by levers 15 moved by cranks driven by motor 18. The' cars 24 are mounted on shafts 21 carried in bearings at the ends of arm 19. A crank 26 on spindle 13 operates rods 28 connected to cables 33 or co-operating with pulleys 23 on shafts 21 and thus the cars are caused to assume upright positions in two opposite posttions and inclined positions at intermediate points.
