520,380. Lampshades; compound sheet materials. HAUSKIND, A. Oct. 17, 1938, No. 30002. [Class 140] [Also in Group XI] Lampshades and fittings are formed of translucent material formed by pasting or otherwise securing a layer of transparent material such as glass, celluloid &c. on a layer of white, coloured or figured flexible material such as paper or fabric. The flexible material B may have a number of pieces of glass A<SP>1</SP>, A<SP>11</SP> fixed on one or both sides so that the flexible material forms hinges which enable the product to be bent to shape. Alternatively, the separate pieces of covered flexible material may be fitted into a frame or secured by clips. The glass &c. may be cut after securing it to the backing and the edges may be bevelled.
