Abstract

512,708. Wardrobe trunks. SALOMON, S. Jan. 17, 1938, No. 1538. [Class 18] A trunk is fitted, either temporarily or perma-. nently with an expansible liner which is provided with means for supporting garment hangers. The liner comprises four L-shaped members 4 clamped together by members 6 or located by a row of apertures in one member and a pin in the other, and the garments are draped over hangers 12 suspended from a telescopic rod 7 and folded round bars 10 with hooked ends which are slid over to rods 8. According to the Provisional Specification, these may be a canvas container on either side of theliner to protect the garments, and the fittings on the liner may be as described in Specification 439,400.
