[Class 87 (i)] [Also in Group XIII] In a panel system of warming or cooling buildings precast surrounds A made of a concrete or other suitable conductive material are fixed to the pipes B before they are embedded in the material D forming a structural part of the building. The surrounds, which may be solid or hollow, are made in two or more parts for fitting round the pipes and fixed as by cement and sand. They may constitute a part or the whole of the finished surface of the panel or be completely embedded. A hollow tile may be placed on each surround and embedded with it.
