[Class 44] A fastening for dresses, bags, &c., comprises a series of C-shaped clasps 14 sliding with clearance along beaded edges 12 of two strips in the same plane required to be brought together. The clasps are connected by pivoted links 19, 22. having mounted thereon broad curved links 17 which overlap each other and conceal the fastening members.
