508,767. Slumber caps. HARGREAVES, C. F., and TREVORROW, R. G. Nov. 9, 1938, No. 32584. [Class 1311 ] [Also in- Group VII] A slumber cap adapted to fit the head so as to enclose the wearer's hair comprises two or more pieces of fabric connected by a seam or seams rendered elastic in the direction of their length by having elastic incorporated in them or by being stitched with elastic thread. The edges of the cap may be hemmed, taped or bound and, also, rendered elastic in the direction of the length in the same manner as the intermediate seams. The length of binding along one edge may be extended to form strings for tying under the wearer's chin, and they may be so stitched with elastic thread that when they are not. tied they form a coil. The cap may be of light woven material, openwork or lace-like material.
