[Class 98 (i)] A lens hood comprises a shade portion and a fixing band, the whole being formed as, or stamped from, a single sheet of rubber. Stiffening ribs or bands may be formed in the hood or stiffening wires attached thereto, In the form shown, the hood comprises a body 2 provided with a thickened rim 3 and with supporting ribs 4, and a fixing band 5 which in use is threaded through holes 6 provided iri the body, being retained by friction. Alternatively, a buckle may be used.
