506,684. Rotary compressors. RUBURY, J. M., HAMMOND, W. R., and HAMMOND ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. Dec. 23, 1937, No. 35659. [Class 110 (ii)] A compressor of the type shown, delivering at high pressure, is provided with a port m covered by a valve q, placed before the position k which is at the end of the normal compression stroke. The valve may be a spring-pressed ball, a poppet valve, or arranged as a dash-pot. External adjusting means p controlling the degree of opening, or a resistance to opening, is provided.
