Abstract
506,533. Reducing dazzle in vehicle windscreens and windows. SCHNEIDER, M. Nov. 30, 1937, No. 33048. Drawings to Specification. [Class 103 (ii)] [Also in Group X] In order to minimize dazzle, a vehicle windscreen or window is curved outwardly away from the driver, and is so placed that the portion thereof penetrated by the general line of vision lies substantially at right-angles to the line of vision. The screen or window may be in the form of a portion of the surface of a cylinder, and may be in two or more portions. An additional opaque screen may project upwardty from the lower edge of the screen, of such a height as not to interfere with the vision of the driver. In the case of side windows, means are provided enabling the panes to be raised and lowered, or slid laterally, to ontrol ventilation. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 123,557, [Class 103 (ii)]
