Abstract

506,084. Teapots &c. FLOWER, A. L. Feb. 8, 1938, No. 3962. [Class 129] A teapot or the like 1 has an inner vessel 2, as for milk, with a closed spout 4 having a valve 10 in its delivery orifice and delivering into the main spout 3. The inner vessel has a partially closed top 5 the flanges of which enter a recess 19 in the rim of the lid opening. The valve rod 11 passes through a slot 17 in the rim and has a push button 12 lying above the handle 13. The lid has depending legs 20 which straddle the housing for the spring 14 of the valve rod and maintain the inner vessel in position.
