[Class 34 (ii)] A laundry &c. drying cabinet is formed with compartments, each of which is provided with a perforate Market &c. support 13, Figs. 1, 2, slidably mounted in guides 13b secured to the top of the compartment. The cabinet is fitted with baffles 16 projecting into the supports, and drying air is circulated over the inner and outer surfaces of the blankets by a pump 22. The pump circuit includes a heater 23, valve 24 for directing the air alternately to opposite ends of the cabinet, a return pipe 29, and a vapour condenser 25. Each cabinet is formed with a tapered base 43, Fig. 4, having an aperture 61 adapted to communicate successively with three stationary air supply and exhaust boxes 47 formed with inlet and discharge chambers 49, 50 to which are connected supply and exhaust pipes 51, 52 respectively. The supply pipes are each provided with a valve 62 adapted to be opened by a tappet 65 on the cabinet as the latter engages with each box. In this modification, the cabinets, which are each provided with a door having locking-bolts 68 operated through linkage 70 from a handle 69, are rotated in a step-by-step manner through a loading and unloading position 38.
