Abstract

505,293. Cabinets. HAWKES, Ltd., O. C., and MANSFIELD, L. Feb. 5, 1938, No. 3685. [Class 52 (i)] [Also in Group XVII] A bathroom cabinet &c. is built up of elements of which the lateral sides, top and bottom are plastic mouldings, the, top and bottom resting on fillets integral with the lateral sides. The sides 4, Fig. 1, are formed with fillets 5, 6 and the top and bottom 1 with fillets 2. Strips 7, fastened to the fillets 6 by screws 8, secure the parts 1 and 4 in assembled position. The back 10, Fig. 2, which may be of wood, is secured by fillets 3 on the top and bottom, and by fillets 11 on the sides. The door is pivoted between projecting parts of the top and bottom. In a modification, the top and bottom may be formed as shown in Fig. 6, and engage fillets 21 on the sides, the back being held by grooves in the top and bottom. The sides are further provided with fillets 19 for the support of a shelf.
