Abstract

503,919. Two-part couplings. LEGG INDUSTRIES, Ltd., B. J., and LEGG, B. J. Oct. 13, 1937, No. 27810. [Class 38 (i)] Relates to holders for electric light bulbs in which the contact pins are carried in and move with a resiliently mounted insulator block. The socket B is formed in two halves b, b<SP>1</SP>, connected by transverse pins H, H<SP>1</SP> passing through slots c<SP>2</SP> in the insulator block C. The halves are flanged at the meeting edges, and the flange b<SP>2</SP> is turned up so as to locate the flange b<SP>3</SP>. The block is an easy fit in the socket to ensure good contact of the pins D with the plates a.
