[Class 145 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXIII] A laminated solid block of wood or fibrous material or of the two combined for use in the construction of airscrews, spars, &c. is formed of a plurality of block sections superposed and cemented together without the application of heat, each section consisting of thin layers or veneers cemented together under pressure and heat. Films of synthetic resin may be used in making each section. Additional thin interleaves of shorter and varying lengths may be interposed so that after the application of pressure and heat there is a gradual change of density from one part of the block to another.
