[Class 46] A filter comprising a corru gated tubular member 1 of perforated metal or gauze supporting a filtering medium 2 is characterized in that the free edges 3 of the medium pro ject beyond the open ends o: the member 1 to an extent sufficient for each to make a sealing engagement with a sub stantially flat surface. The medium 2 may be outside or inside the member 1. Specification 377,715 is referred to.
