Abstract

500,077. Wall-plugs. NOORDEN, J. W. VAN. Jan. 18, 1938, No. 1608. Convention date, June 8, 1937. Drawings to Specification. [Class 89 (i)] In a tubular wall-plug which is woven from one or more hemp or other fibrous threads and one or more compound threads each consisting of one or more fibrous threads twined with one or more' copper or other metal threads, the woven tube is immersed in an impregnating bath, for example bone glue, and then stretched on a draw-bench and dried in the stretched condition whereby the impregnating means -becomes hard, before the tube is cut into the desired lengths. After drying on the drawbench, the tube may be immersed for a short time in a bath of casein or rapidly drying resinous substance, and thereafter or at the same time, in a disinfecting bath, and then dried again and cut into lengths.
