498,862. Wrenches ; screwdrivers. FORD, R. C. July 17, 1937, No. 19832. [Class 61 (iii)] A combination wrench and screwdriver comprises a magazine box spanner 11 with nut retaining spring catch 12 at the forward end and nut socket 17 of different size at the rear end on a part 14 formed with a non-circular axial hole to receive a correspondingly shaped tommy bar 15 formed with a screwdriver 20 at one end and a nut ring 21 or open jaw at the other end, a second box spanner part with nut socket 18 fitting in the main part 11 and provided with a shoulder to engage the end of the main part. The stem 19 of the second part is adapted as another box spanner. Transverse holes 16 are provided in the spanner 11 to receive the tommy bar. Specification 481,231 is referred to.
