Abstract
496,802. Discharge apparatus. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. May 13, 1938, No. 14363. Convention date, May 13, 1937. [Class 39 (i)] In a high-frequency discharge tube the leads 4 to the electrodes pass out radially and through a ceramic base 3 ; this may have slots 10 in a boss 7 for the leads. These may be first fixed to the base by hard glass beads 5, the wall of the envelope 1 being fused to the base with glass 9 of melting point lower than that of the beads 5.
