496,380. Motor-cycle forks and lamp &c. mountings. AUTO UNION AKT.- GES. July 11, 1938, No. 20513. Convention date, July 9, 1937. [Classes 136 (i) and 136 (iii)] [Also in Group XI] A motor-cycle front fork unit comprises in combination webbed fork members 1, an instrument case 4 (e.g. for a speedometer 5, horn, switch, &c.) removably connected to the fork members and shaped to fit on the front thereof so as to appear to be organically associated therewith, and a complete headlamp assembly 6 removably secured by means of flanges and screws &c. 7 to the open front of the instrument case, the back of the headlamp casing closing the front of the instrument case 4, whereby access to the headlamp terminals &c. is facilitated. A ring 9 is removably fitted over the flanged joint. The base of the headlamp 6 is supported from the fork by a bracket 8.
