Abstract
495,994. Board games. HOLKER, W.A. April 11, 1938, No. 27234/37. [Class 132 (ii)] A board game apparatus comprises a board substantially as shown in the Figure, containing four differently coloured groups 7, 8, 9, 10 of recessed .spaces, some of the spaces bearing markings 12 to identify them with a predetermined number or value, and three differently coloured sets of substantially triangular unmarked counters of such size as to fit easily into the recessed spaces, each set corresponding in number and colour with the spaces of one of the three outer groups 8, 9, 10. In a game for three players, the counters are arranged in the groups 8, 9, 10 and are moved by the players one space at a time, or over an opponent's counter if on an adjoining space, with the object of entering all his counters into either or both of his opponents' starting spaces, the number of points scored being given by the number of markings 12 covered by his counters.
