[Classes 20 (ii) and 107] The steel floor or platform according to the parent Specification is modified by substituting the T-section bars thereof by bars of other sections, or by arranging the bearer or spacer members to project above the treads of the bars which, in this construction, are of T-section. In the form shown, the bar is substantially of T-section and is provided, on its tread surface, with longitudinal grooves and, at its base with a thickened portion 1. According to modification bars of I-, L- and U-section are employed. In the modification in which the bars are of T-section as described in the parent Specification, the upwardly projecting bearer members are flat or are of angle-section.
