491,545. Cylinders. RUBBRA, A. A. April 13, 1937, No. 10487. [Class 7 (ii)] A cylinder liner C is fixed to the cylinder head A, independently of the water jacket, by a number of clamps H, H<1> which are bolted to the head and engage a flange F on the liner. The clamps H, H<1> have upstanding parts engaging respectively the flange F and lugs A<1> on the head, and the two flanges F on adjacent liners.
