Abstract
490,619. Envelopes &c. PIRIE, APPLETON, & CO., Ltd., and WOLFF, H. May 20, 1937, No. 14047. [Class 146 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] In envelopes, bags, &c. having self-adhesive closure of the kind in which the adhesive f on the body is covered during storage by a protecting-flap g, the part h of the body, which bears the adhesive, is itself formed as a flap, so that the protecting-flap g may be placed either in front of or behind it. For storage purposes, the flap g covers the adhesive f, and for sealing, the relative positions of the two flaps are reversed so as to expose the adhesive for coaction with adhesive e on the closure flap b. The flaps g, h may be integral parts of the envelope blank, or either or both may be formed by an attached piece.
