489,785. Paper bottles &c. WARE, H. M., and WARE & CO., Ltd., H. M. March 20, 1937, No. 5099. [Classes 18 and 66] One of the base-forming flaps of a prismatic form paper or like bottle &c., preferably the first one to be folded inwardly, is provided with an integral or attached tab which is bent back over the edge or edges of the immediately overlying flap or flaps. The tab may be provided at the free end of the flap as at f, Fig. 3, or at the side edge as at g, Fig. 6, and in the last-mentioned case tabs may, as shown, be provided at each edge of the flap. The tabs may be perforated to allow the wax or other proofing material to percolate.
