Abstract
489,625. Valve generating circuits. HAZELTINE CORPORATION. Jan. 29, 1937, No. 2666. Convention date, Feb. 15, 1936. [Class 40 (v)] To obtain push-pull energization of the deflecting plates of a cathode-ray tube, valves 35, 32 (or other constant current devices) are continuously conductive and charge the plates of condenser 18 to opposite voltages. Valves 20, 21 are normally nonconductive, but when the plates of condenser 18 attain a predetermined voltage, valves 20, 21 become conductive and reverse the potentials of the plates of condenser 18. This reversal is accelerated bv the valve 25 which is coupled between the grids and anodes of valves 20, 21 and becomes conducting either when valves 20, 21 conduct or when a synchronizing impulse is applied to its grid over condenser 27.
