Abstract
489,086. Statistical apparatus. MANN, A., and COPELAND-CHATTERSON CO., Ltd. Jan. 5, 1938, No. 352. [Class 106 (i)] [Also in Group XV] Slips B for receiving entries and having a series of holes C along one edge for sorting purposes are provided with a pair of tongues at opposite corners adapted to engage slots F in a carrier sheet A whereby a series of slips can be mounted in overlapping relationship with the edge containing the holes C covered. The tongues may be formed by means of slits D, E in the corners of the slips as described in Specification 435,368, [Group XV], and the holes C are intended to be cut away to the edge at various points as de. scribed in Specifications 203,734, 225,069, and 297,992, [all in Class 106 (i)], for sorting purposes. There may also be a series of such holes in the edge of the slip opposite to the holes C or in the sides of the slip.
