Abstract

488,675. Compound sheet materials. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP MAATSCHAPPIJ TOT BEHEER EN EXPLOITATIE VAN OCTROOIEN. June 30,1937, No. 18226. Convention date, June 30, 1936. [Class 140] [Also in Groups XVII and XIII] Glass fibres 1 are packed by assembling them on a conveyer belt 2 where they are compacted into a continuous mat by rolling. The mat passes on to a web 4 of paper passing over a conveyer belt 3, after which it is wound up with the paper into a roll 6. The paper may be provided with a layer of cement or tar to cause the fibres to adhere to it. The product may be used as an insulating material or for coating walls.
