Abstract

<PICT:0485669/IV/1> The apparatus described in Specification 471,005 is used for subjecting rayon cakes to treating processes other than dyeing. When used for centrifugal drying the perforate sleeve 12, with a series of cakes supported by the flange 13, and held by the removable cover 17 is placed within a perforate basket 30. The basket 30 is mounted on a base 31 affixed to a rotatable shaft 32. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 471,005.
