485,236. Garments. SIEGEL, J. April 12, 1937, Nos. 10328 and 10329. Convention dates, April 10, 1936 and June 6, 1936. [Class 141] A composite garment comprises an overcoat and a sleeved lining which can be worn separately as a raincoat, the overcoat being furnished with a loose facing or flap beneath which the edges of the lining are tucked, the two parts having complementary fastenings. Fig. 2 shows a section through the edge of the complete garment. The overcoat 20 has a flap 21 forming a pocket 23 in which the edge of the lining is accommodated. For this purpose the parts are provided with the complementary parts 25, 26 of a sliding fastening placed respectively on the inside of the flap 21 and on the inside of the lining some distance away from the edge which is folded back as shown and has a flap 30 which, when the lining is worn, covers the fastening 27. The collar 32, Fig. 4, of the lining fits under a flap and is secured by snap fastenings 35. To facilitate the arrangement of the lining in position the collar is formed as a split lapel 32, 33 as shown in Fig. 10.
