484,969. Loading guns. KRUPP AKT.-GES., F. Oct. 25, 1937, No. 29074. Convention date, Oct. 29, 1936. [Class 92 (i)] Relates to loading trays k having two or more loading troughs r, s arranged side by side and movable transversely across the gun breech successively to align the charge elements with the gun barrel. According to the invention, a discharge trough t is provided on the tray to receive the ejected cartridge case. The invention is shown applied to the loading tray described in Specification 481,657 in which the tray support h swings on links y connected with the gun trail and the tray is slidable in longitudinal guides i on the support. To provide for transverse movement of the tray, the guides i are themselves movable on guides x formed on the support h. After the cartridge case q has been ejected into the trough t, the tray is moved transversely to align first the shell o and then the cartridge p. Specification 27643/08, [Class 92], also is referred to.
