Abstract

Chicken foods in powder form contain dried raw herring, corn such as maize, and middlings of wheat, barley, or oats. Bran, rapeseed cake, pulp meal, oyster shell and charcoal may also be added. The dried raw herring is cut into pieces and then reduced to a powder by grinding with the corn and the other ingredients.
