Abstract
484,765. Fastenings. BUGATTI, E. Aug. 4, 1937, No. 21494. Convention date, Aug. 8, 1936. Addition to 458,974. [Class 44] [Also in Group X] Clips for securing panels of glass or other material in their frames, of the kind described in the parent Specification, are now mounted independently of both the frame and panel or are attached to the locking frame 7 by which the panel is secured, and the frame 3 is notched or recessed if necessary for the insertion of a tool to remove the clip. The locking frame 7 may have positioning lugs 7<1> and a tool mav be introduced between the frames 7 and 3 to disengage the clip from the recess 4a. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 3, a hole D may be provided for a rod to disengage the clip. An independent clip is shown in Fig. 5, hooked over a projection on the frame and adapted to be disengaged from the frame 7 by pressure at E. The panel is held in a channel frame of rubber or like material.
