Abstract
482,072. Two-part couplings. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. April 15, 1937, No. 10812. Convention date, Aug. 28, 1936. [Class 38 (i)] The contacts 4, 5 of a coupling for multicore cables for speech circuits are arranged in independent compartments that are separated from adjacent compartments by partitions 6 ... 9. The partitions of the plug member and those of the socket member have a rubber gasket 10 between them to seal the compartments. The partitions may be arranged on diameters of the coupling members or may consist of a cylindrical wall surrounding each contact.
